A short chapter for today
Nun 2: The Nunning
Issei didn't exactly know why he was greeting the blond nun. He didn't know her, nor did he have a motive to do so.
He just did.
Perhaps it was just being nice, or perhaps he just wanted someone to talk to during his slight bout of inner turmoil.
There was no reason he wanted to talk to her at that moment.
He wanted someone to talk to.
Whether be it someone he knew, or an animal. He'd take anyone at this point.
"Hello," the blond said cheerily, slightly confused at his sudden greeting. She probably didn't expect anyone to talk to her, nonetheless him.
"How did you find this place?" Issei broke the silence that was in the air, asking a question that would hopefully break the ice.
The blond took a few moments to gather herself before responding in a kind voice that reminded Issei of his mother when she helped him patch up his childhood wounds. "Oh, is it supposed to be a secret spot? found it when I was walking around."
"Are you new to Kuoh?" he asked. "I've never seen your face before."
She smiled slightly. "I just arrived today. I was walking around trying to familiarize myself with the surroundings."
"And you stumbled across this place."
"The view here is amazing!" She exclaimed. "I could see the whole town from up here. I feel like a bird, soaring through the winds."
She stood up, holding her hands out before her. The wind blew through her nun attire and Issei could feel the wind hit his face. "I like this town, it's quite peaceful."
"It is," Issei said, his eyes on the far horizon. The sun was almost completely down, with small traces of sunlight still covering the taller buildings in Kuoh. He should probably go home, before the streets became to hard to navigate. "Where do you live?"
She pointed to a place far away, much farther than he had expected. Following her finger, Issei saw that she was pointing towards an old abandoned church, one that he had never seen before in his life even through all they years he had been living in the town.
"I live there," she said. "It used to belong to someone I knew, and now I'm living there."
"Do you need help going there?" Issei offered some help. He wasn't being creepy, please don't take that out of context. He was just helping this girl by walking her home, yep that sounded creepy. What are you doing? Don't call the police! I'm innocent!
After his small bout of dementia, to which went unnoticed to the girl, she nodded. "Sure, it's getting dark and I have to return home fast."
"Don't worry," Issei said. "I have a bike. The ride home would take no time."
She gave him a wide smile, one that made him feel all fuzzy inside, like someone just injected pure heroin deep into his heart. "Thank you, mister! Say, I haven't got your name?"
"It's Issei, Issei Hyoudo," he said. "You can call me Issei, or you can call me.......just stick with Issei."
"I'm Asia, Asia Argento." She bowed down before him, her hands crossed on her chest. "Nice to meet you."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
