Go downstairs

I decided it would be best if I explored the rest of the house. I figured I wouldn't get any answers by lying in bed all day. As soon as I got to the bottom of the steps I saw a woman with dark hair.

"So, you finally got up? You should get your ass over to Oak's lab before he runs out of pokemon," she said plainly.

"What?" I said not fully comprehending everything she said. I mean pokemon aren't real...are they?

"You heard me Bill," she said.

"Wait. How did you know my name?" I asked her shocked. I hoped that this was a bad dream.

"I'm your mom that's how. Now get going or I'll start making you pay rent," she said.

"Ok. Bye mom," I said as I headed out the door. Was it possible that I had been transported into the game? I figured I'd just play along and see what happened.
