Welcome to our new ant overlords

You drop off the ladder and turn around. You see ants, that is if you can call them ants when they are 6 feet long and working complicated machinery with their 2 front legs. But other than their size and obvious intelligence, these look just like the red ants you used to fry with a magnifying glass as a kid. You hope these guys never heard about that. The room itself is dirt brown and all the walls are lined with machinery and computers. There are 6 ants working all the gizmos, and so far none have seen you since their backs are to the ladder. They seem to be talking back and forth with some sort of clicking sound.

You quickly sort through your options. There is an open hallway to your right that you might be able to sneak down without this bunch seeing you. If discretion is the better part of valor, you can quietly climb back the ladder you just came down. And if you are feeling exceptionally foolhardy, you can just clear your throat and just say hello.
