Chris is showing it all to you

As you walk into your first period class the first thing you see is Chris waving you over to the seat next to her. She seemed a little more happy to see you today than usual. She’s leaning back on her chair so far that it’s up against the back wall. She’s wearing blue sweatpants and a simple white top.

“Jezz, I thought it’ll be just me sitting through these boring first few classes today”

You nervously say "Well I'm here for the whole day now"

Chris leans forward on her chair, turns her full body to you, and rests her elbow on the desk.

"Well it’s a shame that I'm not because I have to leave early today for some boring doctors appointment”

“O bummer”

"Yep... right before lunch starts."

The class is rather uneventful that day. There was a few comment Chris makes about Ms. Beltoy's overreacting to the student minor misbehaving's that gets a few chuckles out of you until the bell rings signaling that the period is over. Christina gets up, but before exiting she looks to you one more time and says

“Yeah, but hey I’ll still see you around.” She smiles at you and leaves.

You notice that she left her jacket on her seat before leaving.

“Hey, wait” you pick it up, but she was gone.

I couldn’t just give it back to her the next day because it was the Friday before winter break. Chris wouldn’t have a jacket for a whole week. I know where her house is because you've been there a few times, so I could just give it back to her tomorrow in the morning.
