Changing races.

It was a Friday afternoon, after both Tom and Sarah had gotten back from work, when they sat down in the living room, magic coin on a nearby table, to discuss what they were going to do next. It had been odd, as they had quickly discovered that, while Sarah kept her memories of how she had been before, the entire world seemed to think she’d always been the young woman she appeared as now. “If it’s okay with you,” she started with, “We should try to make the next change like the first one, and see if it also affects reality.”

Her husband nodded, definitely okay with that idea. “So, in regards to something to try...” A lot of ideas had come to him while they waited, but one definitely stood out beyond the rest. “I’ve never really dated anyone but you and a few girls from college. It’s sometimes made me wonder how...more exotic girls would be like. That’s why I was thinking we could try changing your race.”

He’d been afraid at how Sarah would react to the question, but to his surprise she smiled to hear it. “I like it. Honestly, I was thinking the same thing. After all, go big or go home, right? I’ll leave the specifics up to you. Just try and do it like that first wish.” Tom nodded, and tried to remember the exact mechanics of what had happened. He’d made it in his head, not out loud, and it had been simple. So, keep it simple, in his head, no time limit. After all, he could just turn her back later.
