There is an awkward silence for a few seconds after my stepmother leaves.
“Where are you sneaking off to?” Amy says noticing me going up the stairs. “T_to my room,” I stutter. “Do you guys wanna work in my room?”
“Care to explain why you’re butt naked first?” Natasha says. “I hope you weren’t trying to impress us with that tiny dick of yours.” That causes all the girls to laugh, even Emma, although, perhaps out of pity, she tries to stifle her laughter and avoids eye contact with you.
“Go get dressed, baby dick,” Amy says. “So we can work on our project.”
“I can’t,” I say. “My clothes are in the laundry. And my mom locks it when it's running.” “And you have no other clothes around?” Amy asks, disbelieving. “She likes to do it in bulk… y’know to save water?” The look on the three girls' faces tells me none of them are convinced. “Including the clothes you are wearing?” Natasha asks with a raised eyebrow. “Listen, I don’t like it either but it’s her rules.” I pause then say, “Would you girls do me a favor? And help me unlock that door?” I nod my head in the direction of the laundry room.
