Back To The Hospital

Author's Note: I'd like to take this opportunity before we start this next chapter to Thank Ducky and hemelwijs for all their help when I was trying to select a name for The Hospital. In the end nothing seemed quite good enough but I hope the name I eventually settled on isn't too disappointing to my readers. Thank You - Marcus

All Souls Memorial Hospital had an Eerie, Otherworldy Aura about it and stepping through the entrance gave one the distinct impression that they were stepping into a whole 'nother world. The interior of the hospital like the exterior seemed normal enough at a glance but upon closer inspection many people were unsettled by what they unconsciously perceived to be something alien or somehow separate from reality as we know it but for Aaron it was like a second home... Next to Knowhere.

Aaron and his Mother, Cyndi walked from the parking lot to the entrance to the hospital past a granite monument depicting the hospital's Ominous Logo... A Crimson Stylized Dagger, that gave most people the chills when they saw it.

Aaron paused briefly before entering. "What's Wrong Sweetie?," Aaron's Mother asked with a worried expression on her beautiful face and an anxious quality to her voice as she looked her boy over for any sign of distress.

Aaron was alright but ever since his peculiar pigmentary condition first presented itself his senses had become more acute especially his vision which allowed him to see in the dark and to see farther and with greater clarity than most other people. The reason he paused was because he thought he saw something hovering on either side of the entrance to the hospital but they faded in and out so it was hard for him to make out anything definite then he realized what it was he was looking at...

They were... Sentinel Observers, frisbee-sized highly-adaptive technorganic reconnaissance and surveillance technology or put simply, hovering observation drones designed to sniff out any uncatalogued superhuman. Aaron couldn't believe that he had spotted one never mind two which were no doubt covertly scanning everyone entering or exiting the hospital and no doubt reporting to The M.R.D. (Mutant Response Division).

Aaron was familiar with The Sentinels through his internship at Omen Enterprises. He was scheduled to take a tour of the newest Sentinel Manufacturing Plant later on today so he had already taken it upon himself to have Gog to procure, assemble and annotate every piece of data available from every Sentinel-related subject from billions of public, private, and governmental databases around the world.

The Sentinel Observation Drones weren't really designed for combat like their big brothers. They're instead built for stealth, intelligence gathering, and threat assessment so they were equipped with adaptive situational Thermoptic Camouflage and a much more sophisticated sensory suite as well as access to several public and private databases though like all Sentinels they were armed... The Observer was equipped with a Multi-Function Plasma Castor capable of firing a disruptive beam of excited plasma and twin six barrel Gatling-style rotating Autocannons capable of fielding Adamantium and stun rounds as well as a variety of Enzymatic and Biochemical payloads. It is able to track and fire on several targets simultaneously which when combined with it's near Mach flight capability and incredible maneuverability make this small technological marvel a **** to be reckoned with.

Aaron tried not to stare but he was so surprised by how obvious the drones were.

"Is everything alright Honey?," Came his Mother's sweet, soothing voice.

"Um Fine. Everything's fine... Just Fine. Just a little nervous I guess."

"Oh I know. I get worried every time we visit the Doctor too. I can't help but wonder if one of these days Dr. Kelsey is going to tell us that the Cancer is back."

Aaron smiled slightly and took his Mother's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze which she returned with a sad little smile of her own.

When Aaron entered The Hospital, The whole Atmosphere of the place seemed to change instantly just like at school when he walked into the cafeteria for lunch... Everyone fell silent and turned to see him enter. The Eerily synchronized display of interest just like at lunch was disconcerting to put it mildly but he continued on with his Mother to the front desk.

Aaron was always a little nervous when it came to these check-ups but the cute little brunette in the two sizes too small Nurse's outfit sure did take his mind off of it for a moment.

"Can I help You?," The incredibly attractive brunette said with obvious sensual intonations as her and Aaron's eyes met and she shivered lustily before Aaron's mother's voice drew her attention.

"We're here for our appointment with Dr. Kelsey... I'm Cyndi Masters and this is My Son, Aaron Mas...," Cyndi nearly said Masters but she caught herself as she looked at Aaron and saw his irritation. "Cross... This is My Son... Aaron Cross."

The sexy desk Nurse's eyes unconsciously wandered over to Aaron for a second then down his body to his crotch where a barely audible whimper escaped her lips before she looked at the day's entry in the appointment book.

He was sure it was the desk Nurse but he didn't look back. He had enough worries at the moment and he was in no hurry to have another one confirmed.

A turn of a corner, a few doors down on the right and they were there. Ever the Gentleman, Aaron opened the door for his Mother and waited for her to enter then followed. Closing the door behind him Aaron found Dr. Kelsey as beautiful as always and instead of the typical white lab coat that you would expect she was dressed in a tight blue patent leather blouse with a wide plunging neckline, black patent leather micro mini-skirt, open-toed platform heels, and a purple choker with a leash ring. She was sitting on the edge of her desk as if she were waiting for the Male lead in some porn production to enter so that the movie could begin.

Dr. Kelsey was an incredible beauty with platinum blonde hair, mesmerizing brown eyes, flawless lightly bronzed skin, and curves in all the right places. Definitely not your run of the mill Family Doctor and Aaron sometimes got the feeling that when she looked at him she was sizing him up like a piece of meat. It didn't calm his mind any that she always dressed so provocatively, wore such stimulating perfumes, and was always so flirty.

When Dr. Kelsey saw Aaron her brown eyes immediately went to his crotch where they lingered for several seconds before meeting his. The moment their eyes met, Aaron felt a rush of Adrenaline and a faint shifting and shuffling in the back of his mind as if some great beast were moving about in the darkness between thought and reality but Aaron tried not to think about it. In fact, Everything about her seemed to inspire thoughts of sex.

"Actually its after Two but I hope you'll forgive the tardiness...," Cyndi began apologetically but was stopped by Dr. Kelsey.

"Think nothing of it my dear I'm sure you have good reasons for being late and you're not even all that late anyway.," Dr. Kelsey said reassuringly still not taking her eyes off of Aaron.

Cyndi only smirked when she thought about all the fun she'd had with Pam Jefferies, Melissa Jacobs, and even her Son at Bayside before Her and Aaron made their way to The Hospital.

Dr. Kelsey licked her lips and then asked Aaron, "How are you today, Aaron?" Aaron always shivered when she said his name... The subtle, sensual emphasis she put on his name seemed to spark something primal somewhere in the deepest recesses of his brain.

"I'm fine Doctor Kelsey... Only a few minor stumbling blocks but otherwise I feel great.," Aaron said, Speaking in The Thick Old World European Accent that inexplicably attracted Hostility from most Men and Dreamy Sighs from Women. His Mother once thought it might help Aaron locate his Father or at least help them figure out where his kin on his Father's side originated but as unique and distinct as it was it was apparently without origin. He had been to Speech Therapists and Premiere Linguists The World over and the only thing that these perpetually baffled experts could agree on was that it was old... Like really old... Possibly stretching back before recorded history and so rare that it had gone uncatalogued. Meh, Experts... What Good Are They?

Dr. Kelsey shuddered lightly when Aaron spoke. She loved that accent of his... Every word out of his mouth was like someone kissing the back of her neck or nibbling on her ear, It made her want to rip his clothes off and beg to be used like a dirty cum-starved whore.

Unconsciously rubbing her thighs together Dr. Kelsey pouted and then said with a naughty smile, "Nurse Goodess will be so happy to see you." Dr. Kelsey turned to address Aaron's Mother, "Now, Now Cyndi He's a handsome and virile young man. I don't think he wants to talk about certain things while his Mother is here..."

"Isn't that right sweetheart?," Dr. Kelsey said turning back to Aaron and sliding her hand further down his pants.
