Chapter 21 by hambo hambo

Is Ro ready to barter? If so, what will she trade?

She's up for trading, but she certainly isn't ready for what is to come...

"Sure, that sounds ok," Ro says as the mysterious, robed figure shakes and lets out a girly shriek of excitement.

"Oh, this going to be so much fun!" The trader declares as she squeezes her eyes shut for a moment, before reopening them and leaning in towards Ro. "What will you offer?" The trader asks, her voice suddenly deeper and more than a little ominous.

At least, it would be to anyone who hadn't just caught a glimpse of that Limited Edition Dyna Artbook.

"Um, well..." Ro ponders as she looks at herself. She was decked out in her regular, knightly armor (sans her sash). It was the kind of thing they wore when going out on patrol.

It was nothing fancy. Heck, if she was being honest with herself, as a knight's apprentice, all of her gear was pretty cheap junk.

Seeing the knight-to-be appeared to be hesitating, the trader chimed in with a suggestion. "What about your gloves and belt? Surely those are worth my lovely book here, yes?"

Ro looks at her gloves. They were an old pair, fairly worn down honestly. Heck she'd been meaning to get a new pair for a while anyway. And the belt? Well that was in better shape, but she could get another one pretty easily (especially if she 'borrowed' Roi's the next time her sister fell asleep...).

"That seems fair..." the knight says as she pulls her gloves off and undoes her belt. Her breeches start to slip almost instantly (the great curse of a narrow-hipped woman!), but she quickly readjusts them after setting her possessions on the table.

The trader giggles in glee. The fool didn't even try to haggle! She thinks as she sweeps her new goods under the counter. "The book is yours!"

Ro squeals in excitement and reaches for it, but before she grabs it, something else catches her eye...

What is it?
