A Confrontation in the Garage

Commander Sheppard had switched into her on ship uniform, a blue, almost plumber like suit. She and Samus had been traveling for a few hours now, and neither had made contact. Sheppard decided to change that.

She knew that Samus had been resting in the garage, so taking the lift down, she found Samus in the back of the garage, leaning against the wall.

“What do you want?” Samus snarled.

“Look,” Sheppard replied, just as hostile, “I don’t like this either. The only reason I even let you onto this ship was because the Council **** me to do so. Just don’t touch anything and maybe we can get through this.”

“Listen,” Samus replied, “you’re just a problem. Let me do this on my own, and just sit on the sidelines. If you try to get in the way, you’ll be sorry.”

“Are you threatening me?” Sheppard advanced.

“Yeah, I am.”

Sheppard brought her hand up, and it was immediately engulfed in a blue aura. The same aura was wrapped around Samus, and the bounty hunter was flung into the wall. She hit the ground hard, and Sheppard advanced on her.

“Don’t threaten me on my own ship.” Sheppard growled.

Sheppard was advancing on Samus, and quickly, Samus jumped to her feet, grabbing her pistol. Firing a yellow volt, Sheppard let out a cry as she was temporarily stunned. Samus took advantage of the moment and charged Sheppard, tackling her to the ground. Sheppard regained her stature in a moment though, and as Samus knocked her to the ground, she managed to kick her in the stomach, throwing her off.

Samus rolled to her feet, and as she did so, her pistol turned into a whip, striking out at Sheppard. The whip struck Sheppard down the middle, making a large cut on her uniform. Samus went in for another strike, but Sheppard was ready, and as the whip struck at her, she deflected it with her biotics, pulling the pistol from Samus’s hand. Now the two stood facing each, ready to fight.
