Park

Your way to the park itself is pretty uneventful. You pass a lot of people, but without your powers back, you're unable to influence or control them in any way. "Just wait and see," you think to yourself. When you reach the place, you take a moment to just admire the place. Full of blossoming trees and flowers, it offers comfort and peace. It naturally attracts those who are looking for solitude which makes it perfect hunting grounds for someone like you.

It's not that far into the park itself when you spot your first target. The woman, sitting on a bench and reading a book, looks to be in the early 20s, has long braided brown hair and wears thick glasses. She has a T-shirt with a metal band logo and a black skirt. She's on a heavy side and has that aura of a social outcast and low self-confidence emanating from her. "Perfect, just perfect," you think to yourself as you approach her.

"Hey, what are you reading?" you ask her as you come close.

She seems to be startled, definitely not expecting anyone to be talking to her here. "I... Uhhh..." she stutters and takes a few deep breaths to regain her composure, during which you can't help not to notice her big breasts - one of the few benefits of her overweight. "Why are you even asking me that?!"

"Oy, can't a man be interested in what a beautiful girl in the park is reading?" you counter her question with one of your own.

She still looks to be very suspicious of you, but, at the same time, she can't stop blushing. It's probably a rare occurrence for her to hear a compliment, besides, it's always nice to get the attention of others.

Without waiting for any answer, you just slide next to her on the bench, pushing her into an even more uncomfortable situation and being fully aware you need to strike while the iron is hot. "My name's Akira. What's yours?"

After a moment of hesitation, she gives in. "I'm Kokoro. And the book's on Second World War in Europe."
