Quest start. Hunt some crabs.

What could go wrong fighting crustaceans?

After an hour or so of travel up the river, you start to near the location written on the quest post. A bit over one hundred feet away, you can see three figures. They appear to be crabs, though they're about three feet tall, and five feet wide. They are called giant crabs after all. It really is like something out of an RPG. You can hear their pincers snapping closed over their heads, and you start to grow nervous. They look like they could break bones.

This is no time to chicken out. It's our first quest, and we need to make a good impression, just for our own sake, if we want to stay motivated to take on others. It looks like the rest aren't sure what to do first. Maybe I should come up with an idea.

"Eva," you say, and turn to her.

She jumps slightly in place. "Yes, Kyle?"

"You attack first with a ranged attack. Take advantage of their distance by hitting them before they can get here. Niki, don't go too far ahead, but stop them from reaching us. Amara, you support from back here. I'll move between and cut down any stragglers."

You notice surprise on Amara's face for a moment when you call her name. But she smiles, and turns bashfully away to try and hide the pink that has suddenly filled her nose. She nods in agreement to the plan regardless.

Eva nods as well. "Sounds like a plan. Leave it to me then!" She draws her wand, and whips it forwards. She pivots it around in place. Magic energy swirls around her, and as she completes her spell, she thrusts the wand straight towards one of the crabs, and a sparkling blue bolt crackles out like a bullet. "Magic Bolt!" The power sends out a gust of wind around her, showing the impracticality of her outfit. Her skirt starts to waft up her thighs, and you can easily see a pair of tight, blue striped panties hugging her rear. Her lavender hair blows back, as do her rabbit ears, as she completes her attack.

The bolt collides with its target, causing the crab to propel backwards. It cracks the shell as well. She turns to see you and the other two giving her affirming nods.

She starts to blush. "E-Everyone is watching me," she mutters. "That's a lot of attention." Then she fidgets in place, and tugs down the bottom of her skirt.

Before you can think much about that, you look in terror as the two remaining crabs bolt towards you at a much more rapid pace than you were anticipating. They scuttle sideways so quickly that it kicks up dust behind them, and they don't look happy.

"I've got it," Niki declares, and sprints into action with her mace in the air.

"Don't go that far away!" you shout, but it falls on deaf ears.

She slams into one of them, sending it backwards with impressive ****. It slides upside down to land near the other just in time for it to stand back up. It looks like she's preoccupied. Soon, they'll both be up, so it's two versus one back there. Meanwhile, you have other problems. One of the crabs is on its way to pinch both you and Eva, and all you can do is grip your sword and wait for its arrival.
