Follow Sam (Originally by Lord of the Pies)

Sam had taken the left side of the stairs, and entered the second door on the balcony. It opened into a long corridor lined with more doors. He poked his head in the first. It was an entertainment center, with a huge Tv and massive sound system. He looked in the next doorway. It was a bathroom as big as his bedroom back home, equipped with some devices he didn't even recognize. The next door. Some kind of workshop filled with half assembled or half disassembled electronics. Oddly, the walls were pink. Coming to the end of the hall, he found a large room that seemed to be entirely storage. As he closed the door, he heard a beep on the wall next to him. Turning, Sam saw that part of the wall had changed and now showed a pulsing blue dot. He pressed it. An image of his uncle appeared with a backdrop of a fancy modern kitchen. He had some flour and a sheepish look on his face.

"Hey Sam," he started "You're brother just called me up with an important question I forgot about. He asked where the guest bedrooms were so he could pick a room."

"Yeah, I was wondering that too." Said Sam, "Where are they?"

"That's the trouble," Uncle Mark replied, "There are none. The house had seven bedrooms when we bought the place, but we converted one into a workshop, one into a library, and two into an indoor pool. I'm sorry to say it, but you're gong to have to crash in either Sami's or Amy's room. The girls are 'bout your ages, at least. But don't worry! They're not too girly! Both my daughters are pretty technologically inclined, but they do have some notable feminine touches."

"I guess that's okay,"Sam said hesitantly, "as long as there're no unicorns or ponies or anything."

"Don't fret bucko," Uncle Mark replied, smiling, "They grew out of those years ago. Let me pull up a map so you can go check then out. Remember, first come, first serve on who gets which."

As his image vanished, a simple map appeared of the floor Sam was on. He was indicated by a red dot and another dot indicated Kyle way across the building. Two rooms were also highlighted in blue, one near him and one near Kyle. He headed for the nearest one, which was two hallways over. He found himself in a hallway with deep blue walls. It was also filled with small tables and pedestals each containing some strange piece of what seemed to be abstract art. Sam picked one up and examined it. It was spherical, but with a flat base, and covered in swirling black and white patterns. He found two metal nubs on the top and a LCD screen on one side behind a removable piece. Obviously the art was some sort of device, but he put it back on it's pedestal since he had no idea what it was. He noticed the word "Amy" written on the door next to him in glittery letters. Opening the door, he walked inside.
