In the cafe

Carrie walked into the cafe, ordering a cappuccino before grabbing a seat. She noticed how the men in the cafe turned to stare and ogle at her once she strolled through the door. Not that she minded; in fact, she enjoyed the attention.

Besides, if she could have such an effect on these men, there was almost no doubt that Troy would be baited as well, giving her a boost of confidence.

After a while, the door opened again. Carrie recognized Troy from his pictures on social media, which she had checked to ensure that she would recognize him when he arrived. The guy was a total hunk; tall, blond, and muscular. Troy was an alpha male, no doubt about it. She could see why this guy would always get his way, both in life and with women.

He looked around the shop, presumably looking around for a sexy girl to sit with, before his eyes settled on Carrie, and he took the seat across the table from her.

“Hey there,” he said in a friendly voice. “I’m Troy. Who are you?”

“Oh, I’m Carrie. I recently discovered this shop, and I really like its cappuccino, so I’ve been coming here more often recently.”

“Ha, I see. No wonder I didn’t recognize you, since you’ve only been coming here recently. I knew I would never have forgotten someone so beautiful,” he winked.

Carrie blushed, in spite of herself. Troy may be a bully, but he certainly knew how to make a girl happy.

“Aww, you don’t mean that,” Carrie said shyly, acting coy.

“No, I’m serious! Such a pretty girl, I’d be surprised if you didn’t have a boyfriend!”

“I do, actually!” Carrie proceeded to tell Troy about you.

“Oh, him? I know that guy! Yeah, we were in college together!” Barry exclaimed.

“Really?” Carrie asked, feigning ignorance. “What a coincidence! Were you guys close back then?”
