The sounds of a small boom!

You heard a quick, small explosion off in the distance, then smelled what could only be described as the scent of brimstone, smoke, sulfur, and musk. Something about this scent made you want to run away as far as possible. No good came from monsters smelling such a way.

Fire was bad, very bad. And explosions in general tend to be signs of very bad things.

It was coming from further into this cavern located forest too. That made you question whether or not to go back the way you came. Still, there may be an exit, possibly a closer one further this way. It had to be considering pieces of the outside made it in here.

You could also find your way to certain doom, and worse yet, be further from the nearest or ONLY exit to the wilds. Perhaps this cave was a poor choice.
