Chapter 132
by

What’s next?
Meeting Emily's Mother.
“Uh… sis? Why are you coming with us?” Emily asks Ms. Miller as the older woman leads you and your girlfriend to her car at the school’s parking lot.
“Because mom already tried to steal one of my boyfriends once.” She tell her. “I know you’re okay with David having multiple partners, but I’m not letting our mom get in the way of your relationship. I know you won’t be able to stop her if she tries anything.”
“Urgh…!” Emily flinches. Her agreement with her sister makes you feel rather nervous about going to her house.
“Also, David, right now I’m not your teacher. I’m your girlfriend’s sister, so just call me Julia, you hear?” She says with a teasing grin.
“S-Sure.” You nod in agreement.
You all get in the car, with you and Emily in the back. As Julia drives you and Emily to her house, she makes idle conversation about your life here.
“So, are things better for you now, David?” She asks.
“So much better.” You answer, sighing contently and sparing a look at your sweet Emily. “Like you wouldn’t believe.”
Emily blushes and smiles shyly at you.
“Aww! Look at you two! To think I’d see my kid sister looking at a boy so dreamily.” Julia chuckles.
“J-Julia!”
“Don’t be embarrassed, Sis! I’m super jealous of you, you know? He’s obviously special to you. I’ve never had that with anyone.” The busty blonde says good-naturedly.
“You’ve had plenty of boyfriends.” Emily says, obviously trying to switch to topic from her to her sister.
“Yes, and I’m single right now. Just because I’ve had boyfriends before doesn’t mean I’ve had what you have. If I did, I’d be married right now.” She laughs. “And for the record!” She suddenly says, annoyed. “I’ve only had 5 boyfriends in total! Don’t make it sound like they’ve been dozens!”
Emily looks at you with a complex expression. It’s like she’s trying to ask you something, but you don’t know what. Then, she talks to her sister again.
“Would you go out with David?”
Your heart skips a beat at those words.
“Please, Emily. I’m his teacher.” Julia giggles.
“And if you weren’t?”
“It would be weird, right? You and I dating the same man?” The older sister laughs softly.
“And if I was okay with it?”
“My, you’re persistent. If you keep going with these ‘ifs’ I’m gonna start getting ideas.”
You manage to hear Emily mutter to herself, her voice barely audible. “You already have ideas.” She says with a small pout.
You make it to Emily’s house. It’s smaller than Megan’s. For one, it’s a single-story house. However, this one is fancy in a more modern sort of way, being made of smooth brown bricks and with two pillars at each side of the stairs at the entrance.
Emily opens the door and announces your arrival.
The three of you walk into the living room and find the girls’ mother sitting on the couch drinking tea and watching TV.
“Oh. You’re here, too, Julia?” The woman asks.
And now you can understand how she gets so many boyfriends. You don’t know how old she is, but she looks a lot more like her older daughter than the younger. She has a big chest, toned body, long blonde hair and doesn’t look older than 40, though she most probably is, having a 28 year-old daughter.
“I am. I want to know my sister’s boyfriend too. Not just my student.” Julia flashes you a grin.
“Alright. Sit down everyone.” She says, putting her teacup on the coffee table.
Julia sits beside her mother while you and Emily each sit across them on an armchair.
“So you’re Mr. David Walker. A pleasure to meet you. My name’s Susan Miller.” She greets you. “I knew Emily had gotten a boyfriend the moment she started asking more serious questions about the pill. She finally decided to present him to me, huh?” She chuckles.
You see Emily’s face redden. She was read like a book.
“I’m sorry for not coming sooner. It’s my fault for pushing the matter away for so long.”
“Don’t worry. Now tell me about yourself.”
The conversation goes very similarly to how it went with Megan’s parents. Mrs. Miller asks personal question. About your family, school, how you’re getting along with Emily and the like.
So far, she’s being very approachable. Certainly a far cry from Megan’s dad at first. She asks questions and politely listens to your answers.
After a while, she gives you an apologetic look as she begins to stand up.
“I’m so sorry. I need to excuse myself for a moment. I’ll be back soon.” Mrs. Miller says and heads to the bathroom.
“I’ll be back in a second, too.” Julia says. “I want to see what she’s done with my room.”
That leaves you in the living room alone with Emily, who leans closer and whispers to you.
“Hey, why don’t you check if my mom likes you or not?”
“With the app?” You ask.
She nods and you can’t really see anything wrong with that. Emily must have her own concerns if she’s asking you to check.
You take out your phone and, to your surprise, see a small exclamation point on the AMA icon.
Curious, you open it and go to Mrs. Miller profile. There, you see a message that makes your blood run cold.
