Try to pull it off
You react in panic, hands finding the smallish body of the creature attached to your mouth and instinctively try to pull it off. As your hands grasp its body, a sharp tail rises up and presses menacingly against your throat. You gulp, which unfortunately seems to stimulate the creature on your face as you feel it push itself even further into your throat. Maybe you should try something else?
