Your Teachers

A tall blacked haired man stood behind the headmaster not even choosing to make eye contact with you instead choosing to focus on something else.

“The tall gentleman in black hair brooding back there is Dr. Kurt Haas a veteran of the second Magnus war and is the head of our dark arts department here.” The headmaster said jovially before Dr. Haas took out an old fashioned pocket watch attached to a chain from his pocket sighing deeply he quickly left the room without saying a word.

The headmaster sighed before turning to the next professor a woman she wore glasses, she was of an average build she wore a simple sweater reminiscent of the school uniform and had blond hair.

"This is Dr. Sadie Price head of the enchantment department she will be your Professor covering all areas of magic regarding enchantments, runes, sigils and wards."

The headmaster looked for the blond hoping she would have a better reaction compared to Dr. Haas only see that Dr. Price was examining the suit of armor that stood guard at the door.

"Fascinating a level five animated suit of medieval armor being powered by an unknown magic core and unknown rune if I could just take a closer look..."

"Ahem Dr. Price"

"Oh sorry I just got carried away again silly me my name is Dr. Price I am the head of enchantments department here at the academy and I look forward to seeing you again soon Mr. Blackthorn."

Before you could reply Dr. Price pulled her sleeve up to revealing a red glowing sigil.

"And that is my cue to go sorry to leave so soon" and with that Dr. Price left as well.

"Unfortunately none of my higher level staff were willing to teach you but luckily I found the twins professors Asher and Arnan Evans from the elemental department were both willing to teach you elemental magic."

On cue two skinny gentleman stood up and approached me looking me over with calculating eyes before they busted out smiling and laughing.

"I say Asher this lad looks quite nervous wouldn't you agree?"

"I agree Arnan the lad looks quite different from the other blokes at this fine academy but I have a feeling that our department head is going to be quite gobsmacked when she finds out that we are teaching the sixth void elementalist in history!"

As the two twins talked and chatted they soon heard a bell ring before they both looked at their watches and disappeared without a single goodbye at all. I looked at the headmaster who simply muttered something about the British and their tea time before sighing and sitting down once more in his desk.

"I won't lie Mr. Blackthorn it took a lot of string pulling to even convince them to teach you and I know you seem like a good kid but I am asking that you treat each everyone of them with respect because as far as I know only the twins wanted to teach you condition free. As for the classes you will be meeting at night due to them all teaching classes during the day You will have Enchanting, Runes and Wards with Dr. Price from 8pm to 8:50pm, followed by Elemental Magic with Doctors Asher and Arnan Evans from 9pm to 10:50pm and then finally you will have Dr. Haas from 11:00pm to 12:00pm Monday thru Friday. Of course regarding labs and other additional material similar to labs those will be performed with the main classes which you will be informed by your professors. I do apologize that your classes will be this late in the evening and that due to current circumstances you may not have a fair chance at extracurriculars but on the bright side the days will be yours to do as you please and otherwise you should be able to graduate in four years as well."

To that you simply smiled at the headmaster before approaching the desk before you spoke.

"Thank you headmaster for this opportunity I promise I will try my best to make you proud."

As you were about to leave the headmaster called you back one more time

"Oh and Mr. Blackthorn when you return to your dormitory you should find everything you need to start the year off right I will see you at dinner tonight" the headmaster said with a smile.

You simply nodded before you exited his office with the suit of armor following you closely behind.
