Before you leave the office, you ask to use the intercom for an announcement;

"Attention, students. This is Michael, your new Female Uniform Inspector. There has been a slight update to the dress code, effective immediately, aiming to combat the recent trend of fashion-based bullying.

1. Each female student is allowed no more than one article of clothing while on school property. This rule applies 24/7, whenever you may be in the building or on the grounds. We will be working with the appropriate school sports authorities to incorporate this philosophy into our girls' sports uniforms.

2. You may choose to wear whatever single article you wish, provided it complies with all relevant dress code restrictions. Shoes and socks or stockings are to be counted as a single article, as are pants and belts. Jewelry, medical necessities, and bags are not to be counted as articles at all, provided they are not excessively large.

3. Since many of you have likely worn more than one article of clothing this morning, you are hereby dismissed from class long enough to select which one you would like to keep and to stow the rest away in your locker. I will be passing through the hallways to answer questions, offer clarifications, and ensure compliance with this new rule."
