Apollo reluctantly attends a Gavinners concert with Trucy, Pearl, and Athena.

Apollo opened the door, to a sinking feeling in his stomach. In front of him were three faces he knew well: Trucy, Athena, and Pearl, but it was their apparel that heralded the sick feeling in his stomach.

Each of them was wearing the same T-shirt — Pearl wearing it over her acolyte robes — with bright purple font reading, 'GAVINNERS REUNION TOUR 2029,' an equally bright purple 'G' with spiky spurs adorning the top. "What's going on he—" Apollo started, before being muffled by one of the aforementioned shirts being forced on his head by Athena. Apollo feebly struggled, not because he thought he could overpower the energetic redhead, but as a small show of defiance.

"Surprise!" said Athena, a toothy grin on her face. "We got tickets in the mail from that Klavier friend of yours, and we thought we'd surprise you with a concert for your first day back!"

"I'd say that we're friendly rivals at best..." Apollo groused. But either Athena didn't notice, or didn't care — her grin was still as wide as ever. She danced about the room with Trucy and Pearl, singing what they could remember from the Gavinners' setlist.

"I don't —" Apollo was about to deliver his extensive manifesto on his general distaste for the Gavinners, but stopped when he saw the look on Trucy and Pearl's faces. The kids probably haven't ever been to a party without being accused of a class A felony. He thought, eyes softening. His reminiscing was stopped by Trucy looking at him expectantly. "What is it, Truce?"

"You can cover the bus fare, right?"

Apollo groaned. At least he was spending time with them.

The concert venue was pretty interesting, Apollo had to concede. It was set up to look like an Athenian courthouse, alabaster pillars lining each side, and a large set of scales for the stage. Klavier was nice enough to have them right next to a pillar, away from the throngs of screaming 'Gavineers', something Apollo was slightly grateful for. But despite all of this, he was assuredly not enjoying himself. One of the speakers was close enough to let him feel the vibrations in his stomach. And to top it all off, the girls seemed to be having a swell time right in front of him, Trucy and Pearl surprised by the novelty, and Athena with special headphones so she wasn't overwhelmed.

Apollo rubbed the coin in his pocket, for a few moments, before deciding on a course of action. He took a breath, steeled himself, and...
