Ask Jenna for advice

The worst possible thing is happening. It was possible that Mona controls all the chips for the next elimination. There was zero danger of you being eliminated next recoupling but the serious risk of something worse happening. If Tom were to pick Mona, then that would mean either Paige or Jenna would be left as the single female islanders left uncoupled. This meant if things went on as they did, you would have to make a choice to save one or the other.

There was no way you could let that happen. But how?

“Answer me damn it,” You think as you grip the phone in your palms tightly.

With Paige, giving you the cold shoulder and the rest of the Islanders peeved at you, you turn to the only person you had left in Jenna. Jenna met up with you at the balcony a bit before lights out, and you give her a full summary of what happened, and she listens intently.

“I’m really sorry, Matt. That sounds awful,” Jenna says and then rubs your face and with her other hand run her hands through your hair.

“No… don’t be. Fuck, it was my fault in the first place. I shouldn’t have done that to Rick and… maybe I should have trusted Mike to see Mona for what she is.”

“Matt, you’ll get the others to trust you again. If Mona is who you say she is, it’ll show eventually,” Jenna reassures you and continues comforting you with her hands, petting you like a beloved dog.

“Maybe, but I don’t have the time. If things go on the way they do, then either Paige or you will get eliminated,” You say.

“If that happens... save Paige,” Jenna says warmly and rubs your shoulder.

“But what about us?”

“I… I was in the wrong to Paige. I still have to go apologize to her, but I was definitely in the wrong. What you and Paige have is special. If it comes down to it, then save Paige.”

“But-”

“I will still care about you,” Jenna adds. “I think you owe Paige much more... if things don't work out then come find me in the real world. I'll wait for you.”

You shake your head. No matter what, you would not let it happen.

Jenna smiles warmly again, and you bent down and kiss her. It was a tender peck that led to an embrace and her hands wrapped around you, cradling your body and soothing you, stroking the back of your head with palms.

“It’ll be okay, Matt. Whatever happens, I’m happy we got to meet,” Jenna says.

Gripping your phone and gritting your teeth as you left to go brush your teeth, a new quest popped up in your vision, and you centered it.

Mission – Save Jenna and Paige

Objective: At the next recoupling, figure out how to save Jenna and Paige from elimination

Reward:

• Keep Jenna and Paige on the Island
• One unlocked slot for the Relationship Party menu.

You didn’t need a quest to tell you this. You were going to do it.

Stupid AMA! Give me like a helper or something.

A few minutes later, Paige comes to the bed and takes a pillow and her charger and leaves you there. It was apparent she was going to sleep on the sofa downstairs. Nothing you can do while she was like this, you thought. Or maybe you were just too tired to fight. Either way, the whole day made you felt like everything you did only made things worse.

Only much later, you would find out the red-hair girl at the door was looking at you longingly and waiting for you to come after her. Just one of the many mistakes you would make and continue to make and learn from. Live and learn.
