Travelicus Interupticus

As Max started coming towards the door to exit the math building and head home, he heard two people leave a classroom behind him. It wasn't unusual for people to be leaving classrooms late, so Max ignored it and continued his path home.

As Max made his way through campus, a freight truck had parked in the path on Max's route home, as it usually does on Fridays. The small student store on Max's route resupplying it's little snacks and drinks for the coming week. All completely normal, even after using the machine to change his life for the better.

Figuring he'd do what he always did on Fridays, Max went into the Arts center that was next to the cafe, figuring he can cut through the building to get around the blocked path outside.

As Max was about to turn a corner into the main hall of the building, he heard some rushed footsteps behind him, a loud "Thunk" and his world went dark.
