The match continues

October 7th, 2019 - Bakersfield California - Monday Night Raw

Carmella and Charlotte once again meet in the middle of the ring for a collar and elbow tie up. But at this point Carmella knows better than to pit her strength against Charlotte’s and does a quick twist to get behind her stronger opponent for a waistlock. Charlotte reaches back and manages to hook her arm around Carmella’s head and flips the 24/7 Champion passed her for a quick hip toss. Flair grabs Carmella before she can get up and lifts her clear into the air but Mella slips over Charlotte’s shoulder and grabs her hair as she comes down behind her and yanks the challenger down to the mat with a sit out mat slam. Charlotte rolls away and starts to get up but Carmella charges at her and jumps up in front of her and swings upward then sends the taller blonde flying over her with a wheelbarrow snapmare. Flair doesn’t stay down long and scrambles back up but Carmella takes her back down again with a quick single leg dropkick.

Charlotte goes rolling across the ring and finds herself near the ropes. Flair knows that Carmella is rapidly gaining momentum after that series of three moves in quick succession so she employs a veteran strategy and slips out of the ring to cut off Carmella’s momentum.

Carmella finds herself alone in the ring and spots her opponent trying to make a break for it. Mella quickly runs to the ropes then comes off and sprints clear across the ring before diving through the ropes after Charlotte. SUICIDE DIVE! But Charlotte sees the dive coming and moves out of the way. CARMELLA GOES CRASHING DOWN TO THE FLOOR!

“You’re playing in the big leagues now, Carmella!” Charlotte taunts her fallen opponent as she lies sprawled on the floor just shy of the entrance ramp. “Rookie moves like that won’t fly here!”

Charlotte grabs Carmella by the shoulder and waist of her money-print singlet and drags her a bit up the ramp then runs with her and throws the smaller blonde woman into the fan barricade. The fans gasp at the hard impact but none more so than the fans standing just behind the barricade who were in the best position to see Carmella collided with thinly padded fence. Charlotte is all smiles now and casually flips her hair as she follows after Carmella and drags up off the floor again. The camera behind them shows that Charlotte’s hold on the shoulder and waist of Carmella’s singlet has caused it to ride up into a wedgie and it now resembles a thong which shows off a generous portion of Carmella’s fabulous round and tanned ass. But before the audience has a chance to fully appreciate the view, Charlotte chucks Carmella clear across the aisle and Mella actually winds up flipping as she smashes upside-down into the barricade on the other side of the ramp.

By this point the referee’s ring out count is at five. Charlotte is well aware that she can only win a championship by pinfall or submission so she goes over to Carmella and pulls her away from the barricade and then literally drags her down the ramp by her dyed blonde hair. This does her no favors with the WWE Universe. If the fans were split on Charlotte before now they are all firmly against the Queen as she lifts Carmella up and rolls her back into the ring.

Charles Robinson is up to seven now. But Charlotte doesn’t immediately follow Carmella into the ring. Instead, she takes an almost leisurely stroll up the ring steps before grabbing the ropes and climbing up onto the top rope. Charlotte is looking to fly but Carmella suddenly springs up and throws herself at the ropes. The top rope slips out from under Charlotte’s boot and she drops down and gets crotched on the top turnbuckle. And while she doesn’t have balls to make the impact extra painful, the slip is still enough to slow her down for a couple seconds. That’s all the time Carmella needs. The 24/7 Champion uses the same top rope to pull herself back to her feet then takes a step towards the uncomfortably perched Charlotte and flips forward into a handstand. Carmella gets her legs around Charlotte’s head and flips the challenger off the top rope and down to the mat with a handstand frankensteiner. Carmella crawls after Charlotte and capitalizes with a quick cover.

“ONE!”

“TWO!”

“TH—” Charlotte once again just barely manages to kick out. Both women have taken their fair share of punishment in this match. Carmella isn’t exactly sure what Charlotte expects her to ‘SHOW HER’ but she’s at least proving to everybody that she can hang with the Queen and is still in this match.

Meanwhile, Charlotte is getting PISSED. This is the second time that Carmella nearly pinned her following one of her opportunistic counters. Carmella is the disgrace of the Women’s Division. Losing to her in an actual wrestling match would be MORE EMBARRASSING than getting exposed to the WWE Universe.

Both women gets back up but Charlotte strikes first and immediately lunges forward and clips Carmella’s leg with a chop block. Flair springs back up and grabs her opponent by the ankle as she’s rolling onto her back. She yanks Carmella’s leg upward then wrenches it to the side. Carmella lets out a yelp of pain and tries to crawl away but Charlotte keeps her hold on Carmella’s leg and drags her back then lifts her up so the champion is almost doing a handstand before shoving her back down and smashing her knee into the mat.

“PLAYTIME… IS OVER!” Charlotte shouts as she stands on Carmella’s ankle and continues to pick apart her left leg with a series of stomps. She’s very clearly softening Carmella up for her signature submission move.

Charlotte pulls Carmella up off the mat and whips her into the ropes then ducks down to catch her as she comes back. But Carmella jumps up and manages to get her legs around Charlotte’s head for a headscissors and uses the momentum to swing herself around Charlotte with her arms spread wide. Flair ends up doing two full spins before being flipped onto her back by Carmella’s signature headscissors takedown. MELLA-GO ROUND!

Carmella is first to her feet and stands poised behind Charlote looking to strike while she has her opponent literally off balance. Charlotte staggers back up and turns around, Carmella lunges to meet her and extends her leg, SUPERKICK! Wait, no! CHARLOTTE CAUGHT HER FOOT!

“I told you to show me what you’ve got!” Charlotte taunts as she forces her opponent to hop on one foot. “If this is all you have to show me then you’re somehow EVEN MORE of a disappointment than I first thought!”

Charlotte arrogantly releases Carmella’s trapped leg and swings it away from her. But that’s when Carmella strikes and uses the momentum from Charlotte’s push to do a full spin and whips her newly freed leg all the way around before smashing her foot upside Charlotte’s head. DRAGON WHIP! Charlotte doesn’t fall but her eyes roll back and she’s clearly dazed by the unexpected counter. Carmella lands in a crouch then grabs Charlotte by the waist as she lunges passed her and flips her onto her back with a roll up. Charles Robinson makes the count.

As an added bonus, Carmella’s ass is pointing toward the camera. Her money-print singlet has ridden up even further than before when Charlotte gave her that wedgie outside the ring. Now almost all of her ass is on display. And while most fans have already seen much more of Carmella at this point, that doesn’t make the sight of her nearly naked ass any less fabulous.

“ONE!”

“TWO!”

“THRE—” CHARLOTTE KICKS OUT AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND!

Charlotte looks over and glares hatefully at Carmella. Before she was pissed but now she is FURIOUS. Carmella nearly beat her three times. Three! That’s three more than she should have ever been allowed.

“That. Is. IT!” Charlotte snarls. Becky Lynch beating her? She could deal with that. Over the last year the Queen has come to terms with the fact that the Man is at least close to her level. Bayley beating her? She was much less thrilled about that but would admit under duress that the Hugger has had her number recently. Sasha Banks? While their old rivalry had been epic, Charlotte has since proved why she’s the Queen and why the Boss is barely relevant anymore. All four of the Four Horsewomen were legitimate stars now. Charlotte could reluctantly tolerate losing to them. But CARMELLA!? The bottle blonde cheapshot artist is nowhere CLOSE to their level! The only reason she’s even slightly relevant now is because she’s cemented herself as the lowest of the low and the disgrace of the women’s division by running around naked and exposing herself and other women to the fans.

Carmella realizes that she’s gotten under Charlotte’s skin and goes after her again looking to keep up the pressure. But that’s a fatal mistake. Flair suddenly surges up off the mat and channels all her fury into one huge spear: Carmella is left staring up at the lights in a daze. Charlotte doesn’t go for a pin. Instead Flair echoes the movements of her father as she grabs Carmella’s legs and lets out a loud “WOOOO!” Before twisting around AND LOCKING IN THE FIGURE FOUR!

Charlotte has Carmella trapped in the middle of the ring with her father’s signature figure four leglock expertly applied. Carmella starts to scream as Charlotte cranks on the pressure for one of the most devastating submission moves in all of wrestling.

“You showed me everything you had,” Charlotte taunts the champion as she stares across their locked legs at the writhing blonde. “But it STILL wasn’t enough! The fairy tale IS OVER!”

And then Charlotte bridges up for her own improvement on her father’s signature move. The Figure Four becomes the Figure Eight and Charlotte uses the extra leverage from her bridge to apply even more pressure to Carmella’s legs and causes the Princess of Staten Island to scream out in agony.
