Max is no help

"Lucy look, I've already been given warnings from my boss about leaving work during my shift," Max explained, "I can't afford another one, I'll be fired. Just try and stay out of the way of people until I can get there. Don't worry about the outfit, you look so cute in my jersey, and you don't have anything to be modest about anyways."

What the hell was he talking about 'nothing to be modest about!?' Lucy was beginning to feel irate at the whole situation, one slip of this stupid jersey and her private bits would be on full display.

"You've gotta be kidding me Max! Stay out of the way!? Where the hell am I supposed to go?"

"Don't you have a common room in your dorm or something? You can wait it out there until I'm finished at work. I have basketball practice straight after so you can meet me down by the courts and I can bring you some... things."

"I need clothes Max! Now!"

"I know Luc.. but I can't help you right now, I'm really sorry."

"Ughh! Whatever!"

In a state of complete anger, Lucy slammed down the pay phone's handset and held her face in her hands for a moment, sighing to herself, "What the hell am I going to do until my idiot boyfriend finishes work in seven hours?"

Could she really wait it out in the common room all day and hope there were no other students there? She took stock of her current possessions: skimpy basketball top, dog collar, and, looking down in her hands, the card she'd been given by the safety inspector. Perhaps she needed to get checked out sooner rather than later. This emergency with her room may be a lot more important than her silly sense of modesty right now. The card said the clinic was only two blocks off of the college campus, she could easily walk that distance. But how many people would she encounter along the way in this humiliating state of dress?
