In the Jungle

The bouncing of the SUV wakes you up. It’s dusk and you realize you’ve slept through the day.

Mist seeps from the coffin in back. Next to you Tina’s incredible body reforms.

Gwen steps toward him, looking like she is going to kiss him. At the last movement she stops, swings her hand, and rips a giant slash in his neck with her claws.

He gurgles, spouting blood everywhere as he falls to the ground dead.

Your jaw drops. “How?”
