The next week passed by in a blur. Using the marker you tested out having super strength, super speed, flight, x-ray vision (that one was a real eye opener), invisibility, laser vision and more! It was a shame the effects wore off every time you had a shower and the marker rubbed off, but otherwise life was great!

In fact, because of the marker you had decided to pursue your childhood dream and apply to Bastion academy, the most prominent superhero academy in the whole world.

You had undertaken the preliminary exam at your local community center which was a breeze with your new found abilities and had completed all of the online tests which was also fairly easy considering your biggest hobby had always been following famous superheroes and analyzing all of their battles and powers.

All that was left now was to wait and see if you got an email to say that you had got in.
