Check in With the Convor for Information

The funny thing about secret crime syndicates is that their lowest level grunts are always willing to talk about being part of it. You'd think keeping quiet would be rule number one, but thay would be giving them too much credit. Your first order of business: find a Black Sun drinking hole and poke around.

You might find some lowlifes with info at Easu's, but you'd like to avoid causing trouble where you drink. Instead, you flip to the communicator function on your datapad and contact the Convor.

"SK TKKA TKKA SKREE!" Your Chadra-Fan engineer seems excited to hear from you, but he's always excited about something.

"Hey Timik. How are the repairs going?"

"SKISKISKA TIKTIK SKA!"

"Did you get permission from Rogo to play with the hyperdrive generator?"

"...trka skaska tiktik Timik." The strange squeeling in the background confirms that whatever Timik did, it probably wasn't good.

"Uh huh. Put Rogo on please."

The hologram is wrenched harshly, and suddenly your Dug mechanic's face appears, overlarge and furious per normal.

"He eez brekking my sheep. Always brekking my sheep!" His voice is guttaral, and you still don't know what his accent is, but it's good to hear him. It means the hyperdrive hasn't blown yet, and your ship is still there.

"Rogo. Two things: first, undo whatever Timik did to the hyperdrive. He knows he needs me to sign off on any experiments that might explode. Feel free to use **** if he's being obstinant."

Rogo seems pleased, and is about to launch into a tirade against his nemesis until you cut him off.

"Second thing: do me a favor and run what we have on the Black Sun."

"Bleck Sun? No need. Iz eeezy. Go to Toyo's. Rogo knows many there. Geev my name, everyone help you."

You sign off before Rogo can start yelling again, and check the directory for Toyo's. Turns out it's a dive down on the dock level, which makes sense. The Black Sun operates in smuggling and distrubution, so it's as good a place as any to start. You catch a speeder-taxi and begin your search.
