You go back to your apartment

Left all alone, you decide to go back to your apartment and do some work of your own. You are a writer and illustrator for a semi-popular web comic and your deadline for this weeks issue is quickly approaching.

Your roommate Olivia is no where to be seen when you return which is just how you like it. The two of you had never really gotten along well. She was a friend of Stacey's who had needed a place to live when you and Stacey couldn't afford to cover the cost of an entire apartment yourselves.

It takes you the better part of the afternoon, but you finish off the last few panels of this weeks issue and schedule the release on the website that publishes your material. You stretch your sore back satisfyingly in your chair as you watch the upload bar fill.

You glance at the marker you and Stacey had purchased, resting on the table. A marker which was supposed to be able to change whoever it wrote on. It seemed like the type of fiction you would write into one of your comics but you couldn't help but remember how strong Stacey's hug was after you had written STRONG CONFIDENT WOMAN on her arm. Stacey was usually limber yes, but no body builder.

'No...no way.' You shake your head, clearing such thoughts. Clearly living with Stacey was addling with you brain.
