Mark kisses Jamie (by Vanilla Thunder)

As Jamie walked Mark to the door, Mark turned back around. Jamie, excited to spend more time with Mark, was smiling as Mark leaned in and kissed Jamie on the lips!

It was a quick kiss, and Jamie started sputtering as he tried to form a response. Why would Mark do that? It's as if... hell, Jamie didn't know, what he did know was how it felt to be kissed by another man! Was Mark gay? That would certainly explain a lot, why his date never showed, why he wasn't weirded out by anything that Jamie did, he must have a crush on Jamie!

As much as Jamie wanted to freak out, he couldn't do that to Mark, getting stood up, and after all he did to help after the apartment fire, hell, he owed Mark a lot. And Mark deserved some discretion at the moment. Shoot... Mark must have noticed the revulsion... quick! Jamie had to do damage control, he didn't want to damage their friendship!

"Oh... that wasn't... that was too soon wasn't it?" Mark asked.

"Oh, no, of course not. It was..." Jamie searched for the right word. "Nice. I enjoyed it."

"You did?" Mark asked.

"Of course." Jamie put a reassuring hand on Mark's shoulder. "See you at six?"

"Yeah." Mark smiled as he left the apartment.

Jamie shut the door and sighed, trying to piece together what just happened when a knocking started. Jamie checked the peephole to see...
