Rachel's mother gulps at your pronouncement. "Come in then" she says, opening the door wide. "C-can I get you anything? Water, pop, hairbrush? Sorry, it's um - been a while" she explains, indicating an armless chair near the entrance. You take a seat and she smooths the folds of her tight, ankle-length dress, looking at you expectantly.
