Physics and an Admirer

After enjoying several hours playing his video games Angelo headed to class at the local college. He had to admit it was nice no longer having to carry his books to class, but still, it felt a little weird. He was starting to wonder if he should even still come to class. Normally, Angelo would need to attend to keep his focus on the current assignment, but after absorbing the material from his books, he could easily finish any assignment and turn them in online. As he turned to leave, a new quest popped up.

He had stopped to look this quest over before hitting accept. It was odd knowing someone was a secret admirer of his, but then again things have been getting rather weird lately. He moved to take a seat and mentally took notes of what the teacher was saying, taking a moment in between examples to use Observe on a student or two, but found nothing of note until a short, beautiful Hispanic woman walked in. Her eyes glanced in his direction when he used Observe on her.

She stumbled on her own feet within that moment before letting out a breath to calm herself, looking forward and making her way to his teacher, Dr. Horton. His teacher broke from the lecture for just a moment speaking with Dr. Ruiz before she nodded, heading to a seat in the back to observe. Angelo's eyes were watching her a moment, she had straight black hair that went down to the midpoint of her neck, and blue eyes seemed to sparkle next to her bronze skin tone, she was wearing a white lab coat over a red turtleneck blouse and black slacks. Dr. Horton told them she was there to verify how well the acoustics in the room were working. On a positive note, that explanation seemed to calm most of those in the room, but Angelo felt it wasn't a very good reason to observe a class. While Angelo's mind ran over reasons why she would need to observe the classroom herself, he missed a subtle smile creeping upon her lips.

After another forty minutes or so, class ended. He finally had the opportunity to get up and make his way over to Dr. Natalie Ruiz, but the closer he got to her, the more nervous she seemed to become. He took in a soft breath before introducing himself and asking. "Hello, I'm Angelo Gallo. I am sorry if this seems too forward, but I must know, what is your name?" She blushed before looking down slightly as she replied. "I'm Dr. Natalie Ruiz, it is nice to meet you, Mr. Gallo. I, I should get going though, too much to do, if you'll excuse me." She quickly got up and left the room, leaving the scent of lavender and catnip in her wake. "I'm pleased to meet you too, Dr. Ruiz." He said as she ran off. He was surprised by her rushing off, but perhaps she was simply too busy. His quest turned itself in, but a new quest appeared right after.

He cursed after reading that, hitting accept while moving quickly to follow her. He was just in time to see her walking up the stairs to the next floor. He darted down the hall while remaining careful not to hit anyone along his way, quickly making his way up the stairs after Dr. Ruiz. The sound of a door closing nearby caught his attention when Angelo got to the top of those stairs, all this running was making him think, she was quite nimble. He made his way towards a door he heard close, as he walked towards that door his quest automatically turned itself in.

He blinked, but froze hearing a familiar voice behind him, the scent of lavender and catnip returning to his nose. "I-is there something I can do for you, Mr. Gallo?" He smiled wide, trying to hide his nervousness, turning around to see Dr. Ruiz was behind him, with a soda in her left hand. "I just wanted to know if there was anything I could help you with." He gazed into her sparkling blue eyes before relaxing a little, her own nervousness was making this easier on him, he coughed before continuing to speak. "You did say you had too much to do after all." She tilted her head slightly before nodding. "Well, there is one thing I can think of." She started to blush more before clearing her throat, trying to calm herself before continuing to speak. "If you don't mind answering a few questions. That would help me quite a bit." She moved towards the door that had closed earlier, he could see her name was written on the door. "If you'd please step this way, we can begin." As he made his way to the door, he wondered, was this really a good idea? This wasn't some sort of weird trap, was it? No, that seemed unlikely, but what about these questions. Would they be innocent, naughty, weird, or creepy? Maybe a mix of those options. Oh no, was she planning to brainwash him!?
