You two get to work

"I'll work on the ships' computer, could you find a way to seal the hull," Rachel says pointing towards one particular breach, a hairline fracture running along the side of the ship.

"Yeah, no problem," you say, this would not be your first time sealing a hull.

You know the emergency foam stored within the ship could do the job; however, the seal would be temporary at best and could come off mid-flight.

"Do you know where I could find a welding torch?" you ask, deciding to do the more permanent solution.

"Um, I think I saw one in the main building, on the north end," Rachel explains, before stepping up the ramp into the shuttle.

"OK, I'll go look," you say.

You walk back towards the main building, walking trough corridors, searching for the closet it was probably stored in. Soon you pass by a room labeled "sto--ge," the paint is peeling; you guess it originally read as storage, but some of the letters have been worn away, while the rest are barely visible.

Opening the rusted door, you find yourself in a vast room; clearly, the room was meant for storage of the needs of over 200,000 colonists, not four. The room itself is somewhat empty, filled with metal crates, which have been vacuum-sealed since they were taken off the earth. You notice that some of the containers, which have the label clothing etched into the side, have been opened. Clearly, this is where your group is getting your clothes; the ones left in the open care were too large or small for any of you to wear. There still remains countless crates of clothing that remain unopened. On the far side of the room is a massive garage door, it has been left closed and seems sealed shut with rust.

You look for the tools needed to continue your work.

"Oh, fuck," you jump, seeing a standing figure.

You watch the figure waiting for it to move; eventually, you notice that the far off character is an old robot, it is rusted into a standing position; it seems to be one of the seven rusted and useless automatons in the colony, you guess that is why the main building it so relatively is taken care of. But all of them must have gone dead some 30-40 years ago, judging by the damage to the place.

Near the rusted effigy, you find what you are looking for, a plasma welding torch.
