She struggled with all the heavy books as she crossed over to the check out counter. They went down on the counter with a loud thud. "Sorry" Tammy said to the perfectly dressed librarian.
The dark haired Librarian had her hair pulled back in a bun, she leaned forward and looked at the books. "Young lady you have too many here, you'll have to put four back," She said smuggly. "and do try to be more quiet."
"Yes ma'am." Tammy said looking at each book. "I'm just not sure what ones to put back, I'm in the magic course, with Ms. Bright. We have a term paper on..."
The Librarian looked up and cut her off. "Another Bright student, wanting to be a sorcerus are we?" She frowned looking at the books Tammy had choosen. "Well to start you can put these four back, they'll do you no use, and you mght as well add this one.." Her fingers brushed the golden spine of the strange book. "I doubt you can read it." She looked puzzled. "I don't think I've ever seen it before."
Tammy smiled. "Well I'll take it anyway, maybe I can figure it out."
The librarian checked out each book. "I don't know why you'd waste time with this heavy..." she looked at the binding. "ASSEXOMON?" With the words spoken Tammy and the Librarian bolth felt a cold wind as the lights in the library dimmed a bit, than came back up.
"Well maybe I'll be a better magic user than you might think." Tammy said taking the books from the hands of the Librarian. The Assexomon was still in the Librarians hand. "Can I have that book as well please?"
The Librarian seemed to have a strange smile on her face. "Ummm... I... I.. think this book should stay here with me?" She held the book to her chest.
Tammy reached and took it from her quickly. "Well I have it checked out, you can have it in two weeks when I bring it back." She quickly went toward the door.
