Waiting...

You walk into the doctors office and speak with the receptionist. The pretty blonde girl greets you with a warm smile as you speak with her about your appointment... "You had an appointment for 10 today with Dr. Michaels correct?" She asks in a bubbily tone. You nod your head and she clicks away on the keyboard in front of her. "Well sir..." She says as she stares at the screen, "I'm not seeing your appointment in here..." You explain that you'd made the call yesterday evening and that you were sure you said 10 am. "I'm sorry sir but I'm just not seeing your name under any appointments at all today; however Dr. Miller did have a cancellation so I'm sure I could get you in for 10:30 if you wouldn't mind waiting for a bit?" You nod your head and agree to wait till 10:30. "Great!" The nurse says as she hands you a clip board to fill out. "Just bring this back when you're done and the Doctor will be with you shortly".
