A Flicker Of Hope

Emma froze as she heard the door to the room open and then close. She was hearing heavy breathing. As she listened she realized it was not from some creature having sex but sounded like a person who had been running hard. Emma slowly moved forward and looked through the crack in the closet door. She saw Deanna Olsen leaning against the door catching her breath. She was sweaty and out of breath but otherwise looked normal unlike many of the others she had seen tonight.

Emma could smell the scent of sex strongly in the room now, but assumed that it was from Deanna having come through the door. Emma realized that Deanna looked scared and began to realize the woman had been fleeing the monsters as well. Emma saw Deanna began to turn the doorknob quietly again. Emma whispered, “No, don’t open the door.”

Deanna froze and slowly turned her head towards the closet. Emma slowly popped her head out and said, “If you open the door, they will find us.”

Deanna looked at the girl for a moment and stated, “If we stay here they will find us. They have changed nearly everyone in the building into monsters and are now searching every room and every floor. I just left the second floor where they were starting to search it.”

Emma’s mind took in that information. As she did the pheromones eroded her normal dislike for the woman she now shared a room with. Deanna had always been an elitist due to being a track star and a bitch to her, but now she was in the same predicament. Emma also felt the slight arousal she had felt most of the night growing a tad more. As the words sank in, Emma remembered how when she tried to get into her best friend’s room, she had been interrupted by some monster and fled here to hide. Emma looked up at Deanna and said, “If we can get to Gabriela's room, we would be safe. I have heard the monsters repeatedly banging on the door and Gabriela and my friends shouting prayers at them to keep them away. It has been working. I tried to go there earlier but a monster entered the hall and saw me before I could get into the room. I had to run away and hide. I have been here ever since I'm too scared to try and go back.”

Deanna looked at the girl puzzled before saying, “You really think she has been able to keep them at bay?”

Emma looked up with watery eyes and stated, “Yes.”

Deanna with a determined look stated, “Then we need to get to her and in that room until sunrise.”

Emma now puzzled asked, “Why until sunrise?”

Deanna whispered, “I heard the creatures state that the spell keeping us in wears off when the sun rises.”

Emma felt her spirits lift and a hope grow as Deanna asked, “Can you get her to let us in?”

Emma smiled and whispered, “Yes.”

Deanna looked back out the door and still saw no creatures. She looked back at Emma and said, “The hallway is still clear, they must still be on the second floor searching. We need to hurry.”

Emma gathered up her courage and resolve and moved up behind Deanna as Deanna slowly opened the door to the room. The two quietly and quickly moved down to Gabriela’s door. They knocked on the door and as loudly as she dared Emma said, “Gab. Its me Emma and Deanna. Help us, let us in.” The two heard stuff being quickly moved around and the door opened a bit as some one looked out through the crack. Emma implored the person while Deanna looked back and forth down the hall, “Its me, I have not been changed. Hurry let us in before they come.”

The door opened fully and Gabriela thrust out a cross at the two. Emma rushed forward and embraced Gabriela. Gabriela looked at Deanna still holding the cross towards her as she stated, “Begone demon, you cannot walk in our Lord and Savior’s light.”

Deanna could feel Melissa’s panties tighten and flow up inside her a bit. Deanna now understood why Melissa had not allowed anyone to corrupt her. She knew this would happen. Since she was uncorrupted and desired to be, the cross and faith had no effect on her. Deanna moved forward and grabbed the cross as she stated, “See, I am not a monster.” Deanna thought to herself, not yet, but soon.

As the three stood there, a large demon entered the hallway from the rear stairway. Gabriela turned and moved into the room with the other two just behind her. The three shut the door and shoved the heavy dresser back in place as they began to hear the demon trying to bang down the door. Gabriela, Mia, and Lily began saying prayers again as Emma joined them. Deanna backed away to the far side of the room watching. She could feel the panties move even deeper inside her and suppressed a moan as she watched. Soon the demon stopped and everyone could hear it stomping away.
