Same Page

The two of you spend the next few minutes resting on the couch, exchanging the occasional kiss. Eventually, Miranda breaks the silence.

"So, I guess we'll have to do that again?"

"I hope so."

Miranda rolls around to face you. "I think we should talk about things. Just so we're on the same page and all that."

"Of course."

"Well, anything you wanna rule out right away?"

"I think we should tell each other before we do anything."

"That's fair. How do you feel about going off on our own with other people?"

"So long you let me know ahead of time I'm okay with it."

"Okay."

"I also think we should be able to say 'no' to each other going out. Just saying."

"Of course. You're still my number one John."

"And you're my number one Miranda."

"Guess that covers it?"

"I'd say. We can always talk if we need to."

"Sure."

The two of you continue to rest on the couch, as you wonder where this new dynamic will take your relationship, and your sex life.
