A Fun Time

"For today we will do what I like to call 'Survival Training'." Kakashi states, breaking the silence.

"We did enough training at the ninja academy." Sakura says confused.

"I am going to be your opponent. And well this isn't even _close _to the kind of training you did at the academy. " Kakashi explains, standing upright before giving out a little chuckle.

"What's so funny, sensei?" Sakura asks

"No...well...its just that... when I tell you this you guys are definitely going to flip." He gives out another small chuckle.

"Flip?" Naruto questions.

"Of the 28 graduates, only ten will be chosen as Genin, and the rest will be sent back to the academy." He leans back on the railing again, "This training is a super difficult exam with a failure rate over 66%!"

You flinch back in shock, Naruto's jaw drops, Sakura looks completely drained, and Sasuke looks pissed off.

"Haha," Kakashi laughs, "I told you you'd flip."

"WHAT THE HELL?!?! We all worked so hard...then what was the point of us graduating?" Naruto asks angrily.

"Oh, that? That's just to select those that have a chance to become Genin." Kakashi goes back to his bored expression.

"WHAT?!?" Naruto exclaims

"Anyways, tomorrow you will be graded on the training field. Bring anything you believe to be important. And one last thing, skip breakfast since you'll just throw it up." He grabs printouts and hands them to you and the rest of team 7, "Any information you may need is on this piece of paper.

"Damnit, I can't fail this!" You think, staring at the piece of paper. "I guess I'll have to master the chakra shield overnight, if it even is possible."

Later That Night

You concentrate your chakra until you manage it to be thin enough to not be visible, but strong enough to defend against almost any manmade weapon. You collapse on the ground, exhausted.

"You shouldn't over exert yourself like that." A voice states, you look over to see your old sensei

"Iruka, what are you doing out here?" You ask

"I was just going for a walk when I saw you practicing whatever that was." He makes a vague hand gesture

"It's a chakra shield, sensei." You explain, "I've been firing weapons at myself until I perfected it."

"Well then let me bandage you up." Iruka grabs a roll of bandages, but before putting the bandages on you he disinfects the self inflicted wounds. "You should head home for the night, I think you're ready for whatever you're training for."

You nod and head home.

The Next Day

Kakashi walks up, "Hey, guys. Good morning!"

"You're late!!!" Naruto and Sakura exclaim.

He ignores their angry voices and sets an alarm clock for noon. "Here are three bells, your task is to take these from me before noon. Those who don't get a bell by then don't get lunch. I won't only tie you to a pole, but I'll eat in front of you."

"Thank God I ate a huge dinner last night." You think to yourself.

"You only need to get a single bell. There only three so one of you will definitely get tied to a pole. And those who don't get a bell fail. So at the least one of your is going back to the academy. You can use any ninja weapons you see fit as you wont succeed unless you intend to kill."

"You're so slow you can't dodge an eraser, we'll end up killing you!" Naruto boasts

"In the real world talentless people usually bark the loudest, anyways ignoring Mr. Big Bark start when I say-" Kakashi gets interrupted by Naruto before he can finish.

Naruto charges him with a kunai and faster than an eye can see Kakashi grabs Naruto's head and moves his arm back and into a stabbing position.

"Slow down, I haven't even said start yet." He states, "Well at least it seems you are prepared with the intent to kill."
