No.. because the master shows up

I was about to get in the cage when a knock was on the door. I turned to see the master who brought me here standing in the doorway, his own dog in orange latex behind him.

The master smiled at the vet, "Ben they said you were looking after him. So is he alright?" He looked and me and gave a worried look.

The vet nodded, "Hey James. Yea he is fine. He is a recent arrival and his testing shows he's a dog." he looked at Ben and saw the look he gave me. "Look technically you can claim finders if you want. He really is just a stray and I can trigger the paperwork from here if you want him."

The vet talked as if I didn't have a say in this, which I guessed I did not.
