Melissa Gets Ready for Brandon's Party

"Oh fuck!" Melissa realized. She was so into flirting that she didn't realize she didn't have a ride to the party. 'Maybe uber or a cab?' Melissa thought. She was broke and the address was over by the college which was quite a distance. Melissa didn't really have the money for a ride over there, and certainly not enough for a ride back. Melissa wanted this night so badly though. After so many boring nights on the couch, waiting for Greg so they could eat some boring dinner and go to bed early was driving her mad.

Melissa dashed into the bedroom opening Greg's sock drawer. She knew where he kept a small keepsake of cash. It wasn't a ton of money, but she could easily take it for some cab fare, and Greg would never find out right? Melissa grabbed $100 out of the stash of $300. It was all crumpled up and spread around 1s, 5, and 10s, so he probably didn't take inventory of it anyway. Melissa grabbed the money and quickly stuffed it in her purse, zipping it up.

Now Melissa had to worry about not getting caught.

Melissa: Hey baby. What time are you going to be back tonight? 6 as usual?

Greg: Should be. I'm done with all my stuff here actually. I could leave any minute or I could be stuck here for a few hours. Just whenever Jim gets back and looks over my work, then I can come home. Not sure where Jim is though.

Melissa rolled her eyes. This was going to get risky.

Melissa: Oh, well I might go over and hang out with Amber

Greg: Amber? oh ok. Everything else okay? I miss you!

Melissa: Yeah, fine. Bye.

Melissa quickly typed out her last message, not wanting to waste her time texting Greg. She has a party to get to! Melissa walked over to the bathroom, turning on the hot water, ready to shower and get ready for the party. She would need to leave before Greg got home. There is no way Greg would let Melissa out dressed to party for just 'visiting Amber'
