"Rat-King I hereby name you Ta1 Gran1t3." She says and you groan at being stuck with such a lame name for the foreseeable future, but forge ahead.

"How do you actually pronounce that Mox?" You ask, and Mox shakes her head.

"Oh, sorry, it's pronounced 'Tai Granite', like the starfighter and the rock. I figured you needed a powerful name, being a king, and all." She explains.

"Ok, well, as I was saying, what would you say if I told you that there is a slaving operation set up in the break room next to which you woke up and I want your help taking it down?" You ask.

"I'd say that I don't want to become an Outlaw by partying with a monster character, which now that I can see your overlays it's clear you are, (though; apparently, you have a temporary Quest Giver status as well, which is weird;) but as I was saying, I don't want to become an Outlaw, so I'm not going to be accepting this quest of yours unless you can figure out a way for me to do that without gaining the Outlaw condition," Mox says, adjusting the flames on several of her beakers and retorts.

"That's not even hard," You reply with a smile. "I just have to become 'Tame' and there is no problem." You finish.

"That would be easy if I were a Tamer Rogue, Flea Circus Ringmaster, or Guttersnipe, I'm not, I'm an Alchemy Rogue, I specialized into a variant that never even gets access to the Taming ability." Mox counters.

"Not quite true: you can brew a 'Splash Potion of Temporary Monster Taming' once per month which will render one or more monsters of a total of at least five levels lower than yourself tame for 1-5 minutes. What few people are aware of, since the circumstances for it to happen are extremely rare, is that if the monster is sapient, they may, at the end of the duration of the potion, chose to retain the 'Tamed' status in a non-specific manner similar to a reverse Outlaw status." You explain.
