Tourist Traps

Tourism was particularly booming on the island, and with it, the insidious plans and devious devices that lay in wait for oblivious potential victims to casually walk into. The local men take advantage of Western foreigners through hypnotizing means, taking their money and their women with impunity. Some were mystical in nature while others were more technological. No amount of effort has been spared to ensure that the highly illegal activity remained hidden. No small amount of favors were granted for authorities to turn a blind eye. After all, business was good, and the country needed the Westerners to keep coming.
