Tom found that he could make the wish about a day and a half later and felt the expected dip in his consciousness. Sarah had been on a day shift and so Tom had to wait until she got home to inspect the results which led. to some enthusiastic love making.

For a while this was how it was. Tom would improve some small part of Sarah's body. Nothing big like previous times but little tweaks. He removed any sign of grey from her hair, brightened her teeth and removed minor scars, he also removed all her body hair which he realised was purely to fit his tastes. This did give him a moment of pause. Should he be selfish to this extent? On the one hand he was changing things selfishly from the start but it had always been things that she either was or could be with some effort but he had made a couple of changes that altered her beyond that. It was nothing big but it was something that needed to be considered. There was also the fact that the stone was slowing down. The time between wishes was gradually getting longer. Tom was concerned that it could run out.
