Going Shopping

“How about we go shopping!” Naruto watched as Mei gained a glint in her eyes, seeing that honestly made Naruto feel a sense of dread form in the pit of his stomach. His rational mind was recalling some of the many things that Jiraiya taught him about women. There was a great number of things his late mentor taught him, both useful and useless, but one of the most important things was when a woman asks if you want to go shopping you run like a bitch. That wasn’t an option in Naruto’s case though as he had to go everywhere Mei went and that meant he needed to go with her when she went shopping.

Knowing there is no way out Naruto’s face adopted a deadpan expression, “Very well Lady Mizukage. If that is what you want to do let us be on our way.” Naruto said with a flat tone of voice.

Mei just giggled in response, “Oh it won’t be that bad.” She paused for a moment and grew a slight grin on her face, “Who knows you might enjoy it.” She didn’t say anymore and instead grabbed onto Naruto’s arm and pulled him along towards the business district of the village.

Nearly two hours of shopping with Mei later and Naruto had to admit that this wasn’t as bad as he thought it would be. All Naruto really had to do was walk with her to the stores she went to and after she was done browsing through, he would make clones that would take anything she did purchase and put it in the spare room of his apartment.

That being said he was getting a bit bored and decided to voice it,” Lady Mizukage are we done yet?” There was a small hint of begging in his tone.

In response to that Naruto just watched as Mei adopted a thoughtful expression onto her face, “Well just about there was still one more store that I need to go to.” Naruto let out a groan at that causing Mei to playfully hit his arm, “Don’t be like that.” There was a small pause as Mei adopted a predatory grin to her face, “You will enjoy this store trust me.”

Naruto just let out a sigh,” All right if you say so Lady Mizukage. Lead the way.” No more prompting needed Mei took off in a seemingly random direction. Not a moment later Naruto followed after her making sure to stay close so as not to lose her. For nearly five minutes Naruto followed after Mei, who seemingly knew exactly where she was going. Eventually he realized they reached their destination and when Naruto noticed what kind of store it was his face turned bright red making him look like a blond tomato.

“L-L-L-Lady Mi-Mizukage! D-D-Do y-you know w-wh-what kind of st-store this is!” Naruto all but shouted. He must have spoken louder than her thought as he noticed a few people looking at him strangely.

The beautiful Mizukage just looked over her shoulder at him,” I do and from the look on your face so do you.” She ended her statement with a teasing smirk.

Naruto definitely knew what kind of store this was. Looking through the glass doors of the establishment he noticed all kinds of women’s apparel. Normally that wouldn’t bother him, but the reality was these weren’t normal women’s clothes. Rather than normal everyday women’s clothes this store was full of items of a more provocative sorts. Just stealing a quick glance let Naruto see different assortments of lingerie and skirts so small it had to be illegal.

Naruto cut himself from his thoughts though in order to respond to Mei,” I-I wi-will just wa-wait out here L-Lady Mizukage.” Naruto said stuttering due to the embarrassing nature of the situation.

Mei seemed to be amused by this, “Nope.” She said making certain to emphasize the p by making a popping sound. “You are my escort and you are going with me into that store.” Naruto was about to give a response but was cut off, “You don’t get a choice so suck it up.” She was about to move forward but stopped and said,” Call me Mei. Lady Mizukage makes me feel old.”

That being said Mei grabbed Naruto’s arm again and dragged him into the store. He was guided throughout the store towards the back where the changing rooms were. It was a this point he noticed that there were multiple changing rooms but they each seemed to be separate of each other. Mei dragged him into one of the vacant ones and made him sit down on the couch that was conveniently placed inside. Once seated he heard Mei once again.

“Now you just wait there, and I will be soon.” Mei left soon after saying that leaving Naruto sitting in the middle of the changing room. Now being alone Naruto could think about what the hell was going on. One minute he is escorting the, admittedly gorgeous, Mizukage and now he was sitting in a changing room waiting for her to pick our clothes. It all was a bit much, but he knew that he didn’t have many options other than abandoning his mission which would not only cause problems with Tsunade but potentially an international incident if something were to happen to Mei.

Letting out a sigh Naruto sunk into the cushion of the couch and took in his surroundings. The room was rather spacious so much so that Naruto thought that it would be about the size of his bedroom if it wasn’t for a dark red curtain bisecting the room. The walls and the floor of the room matched the curtain, with both being the same dark red. On the far side of the room was a really large mirror, he couldn’t tell the exact size since it extended beyond the curtain. He also made a mental note to ask about what material the couch cushion was because it was incredibly soft. He thought that he needs to get a couch like the one he is currently sitting on.

His observations were broken as a Mei walked into the room holding numerous bags in her hands. Seeing this caused Naruto to jump up, “All right now its time to go right?” Naruto asked with excitement in his tone.

That was dashed when Mei said,” No not yet now I need to try on all these outfits.” She then immediately went behind the curtain making it, so she didn’t see Naruto slump back into his seat. Just as he was about sit down he heard Mei should from the other side of the curtain, “Make sure you lock the door!”

Naruto grumbled in response but did it anyway. ‘This is so boring! I thought the guarding the Mizukage would be fun!’ Naruto thought to himself as he waited for Mei to try on the outfits she procured. There were numerous bags when she walked in and Naruto was sure that they had more than one outfit in them each. ‘This is going to take forever!!!’ Naruto thought in lament. He decided that going to sleep would be best to go to sleep to let the time pass. Just as he was closed his eyes he heard a rustle from the Curtain.

“Well what do you think?” He heard from a voice that could only belong to Mei.

Hearing this Naruto slowly opened his eyes, “What do I think about w-w-w-w-w…” He stuttered as his eyes landed on Mei and what she was wearing.
