This is too much - demand an explaination!

You can’t help but feel furious as you are driven home by the neighborhood sleaze in your wife’s car watching them flirt and laugh in front of you. You had long suspected Stacey of cheating on you but her brazen behavior right in front of you now sends you over the edge. After three months in hospital, she thinks she can act like this in front of you?

“What the hell have you two been doing while I was sick?!” you blurt out angrily.

Jeff stops laughing shocked at your unexpected outburst and Stacey’s eyes become stormy.

“What are you suggesting?” she asks with a hint of danger in her voice “Jeff has been there for me and the girls – as a friend! What are you accusing him of?!”

Her own anger cowers you momentarily but you press on anyway.

“You know what I mean…” you say quietly

“NOTHING!” She screams at you “He has given me advice on how to manage your company and helped us out at home, and that is it. You ungrateful bastard!”

You sit back feeling defeated, Stacey was always the fiery one of the two of you and you couldn’t remember the last time you won an argument against her. ‘I just wish she would stop lying and tell the truth’ you think to yourself.

The anger drains from your wife’s face and an empty look comes into her eyes, when she speaks Jeff almost loses control of the car at what she has to say.

“Jeff and I have been fucking each other for over a year, long before your operation.” She says in a dull voice “before him I fucked a few of my trainers and other guys I met at clubs and social events.”

Her eyes clear and she looks as shocked at what she had to say as you and Jeff. You had long suspected her of cheating but she always acted self-righteous and had excuses whenever you tried to confront her, confessing to you like this is so out of character you can’t help but to wonder what just happened.

“I… I…” her mouth moves desperately trying to form an excuse but nothing comes out, and you realize what has happened – she is suddenly incapable of lying! You can’t believe that this is a coincidence or a sudden act of her conscience, you did something, somehow, to her and now she can’t lie!
