Something crazy on his way home from school

Jake was walking home from school just like he would on any other day. As he walked, a bright light flashed in the sky over his head. Even though it was daytime, the light was still bright enough to catch his attention and Jake saw the source of the light fly across the sky towards the nearby woods. Curious as to what the hell the thing was, Jake ran to the woods.

Soon, Jake saw the light from before again and followed it to it’s source. He saw that the light came from a meteor that had fallen. The meteor was glowing bright blue and put Jake into a trance. Not fully in control, Jake went up to the meteor and touched it.
