Ella confesses

“Ed I-I have a confession to make.” She shifts in her leggings, worried about how he is going to react “I’m not who you think I am”

Ed looks a bit confused “what do you mean?”

She winces at the made up name, taking a deep breath Alex confesses her situation.

“I’m Alex . . .” She describes her morning, the panic and confusion, and even her confusing sexual drives. “. . . And here we are” she gives a faint laugh trying to lighten the load she just dropped on the poor guy.

Ed remained quite through Alex’s confession only speaking when she finishes. “So your really Alex?”

She about falls on her face, is that really all he got from that. She punches him in the arm like he normally does when Ed says something stupid, it hurts her hand.

Ed smiles as he watches her “would it be strange if I told you I was relived it’s you Alex?”

She shakes her head “no stranger then the rest of the mornings been” Alex smiles at him “I’m just glad your taking it so well. Now come on lets get back to your training we will talk more afterwards.

Alex cannot stop herself from grinning as they continue working Ed’s body moving from exercise to exercise. She is so glad he is taking this well, it’s nice to have someone know. She hopes with his help they can figure this mess out.

An hour later they finish up and the end of the routine. Alex collapses onto a bench wiping the sweat off of his face, Ed plops down next to her.

“Ahh this is nice I missed working out with you Alex” Ed’s words are breathy, he is clearly exasperated from the work.

Alex takes a long breath and shakes her head “I just wish this body was tougher, I can’t move anoth-“

Ed has been staring at Ella as she spoke and suddenly makes a lunge at her, catching her lips in a sweet kiss. He breaks the kiss leaving Alex a bit speechless, a big dumb smile on Ed’s faces as he pops up off the bench and finishes wiping down the equipment.

“I’m going to hit the showers, want to get a bite afterwards?” His words almost sound song like

Alex a bit stunned by the kiss sits on the bench as Ed gets up and walks towards the back of the gym. Her head swimming with thoughts.
