What Should I Do?
Ambush The Bandits
I decided to try and get the jump on them. I moved away from the bushes I was using as cover to a clearing and drew back my arrow as I peeked out from. I could feel my heart racing as time slowed down. I had made much farther shots before but I knew once I fired I would have only seconds to hit the other two.
I took a deep breath and came out and fired as my arrow struck its target as it went into the leg of the the one standing. He fell to the ground and grabbed his leg screaming in pain. The other two noticed me right away. His drinking buddy stood up and charged at me as I drew a new arrow. Luckily for me he seemed to be drunk off of his ass. I drew my bow and aimed low as he charged at me and sent an arrow through his boot and foot.
Before I could draw on the third guy he drew a crossbow on me. Somehow I managed to roll back behind the tree as the bolt flew by me. I swore it had flew close enough that I could feel the wind as it blew by me. Luckily I can draw and fire my bow in the time it take him to reload. I drew and nooked my arrow quickly as I came back around the other side of the tree and fired but hit nothing but a wood shield, my arrow shattering, as the guy charged at me. I didn't have time to move as he slammed into me sending me onto my back. Losing my bow in the process. I could hear the sound of arrows breaking in my quiver as I landed. I rolled and got to me feet as fast as I could. He drew a sword on his hip as I drew my axe realizing how outmatched I was. This wasn't just some bandit but a man with military training.
