A spooky forest.

Walking further away to get a better look at your former home, you see that you spent all this time living inside the ruins of a fortress. Moss-covered stone bricks, collapsed walls, that sort of thing. And all around you are trees and thick underbrush, as you find yourself in a misty forest. Unbeknownst to you it has given you a faulty impression of what the sky looks like, as the sun isn't able to shine as bright as it should, giving the whole place a somewhat dim, creepy feel. Not creepy to you, you're used to living with skeletons and vermin, but definitely designed with a "spooky" theme in mind.

You are however completely oblivious to this, due to being way too excited by the mere prospect of being outdoors. Eventually you do remember that you are at the entrance to a dungeon though, leaving you exposed to heroes passing by. So you move your short legs to get far away from the ruins, rushing into the forest to what you hope is safety. After a while you simply flop down onto the ground, ignorant to the concept of bugs and grass stains, and take a moment to breathe.

...Now what? You're free, but what are you going to use your freedom for? You still probably want to avoid **** at all costs, because as far as you know it would send you back to the dungeon. And staying alive is probably going to be harder out here in the big world. Really, what are you going to do? You're on your own now, and you're still next to useless by yourself. You need someone to help you in your quest to be the best. But where to find them? Look for a new dungeon? It's all you can think of. Of course, that's all you've ever really known.

So for starters, you should explore the world. Maybe the answer is obvious after you do some investigating. You just have to be very careful about it so you don't get killed out here.

And with that in mind, you sit back up, brush your robe off a little bit and start wandering aimlessly in search for... well, something.
