In the end, Coach Mann decided, the only way to bring her girls back to the top and make it completely impossible for LVU to one-up them again was to cut out the swimsuit entirely. Still, this was a big change, a huge one even. If her girls weren't completely used to their new "uniform" by the time of the next meet, they'd do worse than before, which would not only further sabotage their chance at the championship, but might even get Coach Mann fired due to the controversy and lack of results.

Which meant that they had to start practicing right away. Normally, Coach Mann would consult the team before making such a big change, but there was no time. The official forms for a change of uniform were filled out and submitted to the league before she even left her desk. The uniform of CMU's swim team was now listed as "N/A".

The only problem now was how the team would react. Coach Mann knew this decision wasn't going to sit well with anyone, especially not her girls, but she held out hope that their competitive spirit would overcome their modesty once they found out that this would give them an advantage. The next practice was tomorrow, so Coach Mann would break it to them then.
