Consulting an advisor
Deciding to take a more objective approach to the situation, rather than an emotional one, I decide I will speak with one of my many advisors about the matters at hand. That is, after all, their job. Having countless officials that spend their days studying reports, gathering information, reading dusty tomes, and listening to rumors makes my job a hell of a lot easier when I finally take the throne.
Still, I must be the one to actually make the big decisions from time to time, and the first of which is actually whom to ask for advice in this huge life changer of events placed at my feet.
Who do you seek council from?
As a prince(ss) in a powerful kingdom, your father has fallen ill while out in the field. With his health declining, he has named his most prestigious child, you, as the heir to the throne. However, you must name a spouse before your father passes, or forfeit your rule to another relative. Lies, subterfuge, deceit, and, of course, sex are all on the table. How will you secure your birthright?
