Recovery

He saw Satsuki standing over him.

"Morning," he said. "What are you doing in my..." Before he could finish, his brain had rebooted, and he was remembering what happened and where he was. "Wait, what happened?" As he was asking this, Satsuki quickly leaned down and hugged him. "I'm so glad you're ok." she said, there was a note of tears in her voice.

"How do you feel?" said someone else. Kazuma looked over and saw Satsuki's mother, Yuzuha standing in the door way.

"I feel a little groggy, but I think I'm fine." Kazuma answered.

"That's good!" Yuzuha said with a sigh of relief. "When you are ready, come down stairs and I will have something for you eat." With that, she left the room.

"I'm so sorry about what happened." Satsuki apologized. "Do you remember?"

"It's still coming back to me." Kazuma said.

"I remember you grew wings and you..." he stopped and blushed as he started to remember that he and Satsuki had sex. There was an awkward pause before he asked a question.

"Could you tell me what happened?"

Satsuki nodded. "I will have to start at the beginning for it to make sense." She cleared her breath.

"I'm a succubus, well a half succubus."

"I see," Kazuma said. "So that's why you transformed and ..."

"The reason you passed out was because I went into a craze." Satsuki explained. "Succubus feed on the energy of others, usually through sex." Kazuma could tell that she was upset about what happened by the tone of her voice.

"I wasn't able to control myself. I gave into my urges and transformed." her eyes started to tear up as she said this.

"I wasn't careful about how much I was feeding off of you, and that's why you passed out." By now, she was crying.

"I'm sorry. I... I could have killed you!"

Kazuma reached up with his right hand and to wipe the tears away. "It's ok. You didn't kill me. And it was my fault for getting you into that state."

"But still..." Satsuki sniffed as she started to calm down. They stayed there for a bit, Kazuma trying to comfort Satsuki.

"I think I'm ready to head down stairs," Kazuma said as he shifted in the bed. "There is something else I want to ask you before we go downstairs."

"What is it?" Satsuki asked.

"While we were... doing it, I remember you said that you loved me." Kazuma said. "Did you really mean that?"

"Of course, I did!" Satsuki quickly said. "That's why I wanted you to help me with my urges. And I wanted you to be my first."

"I see," he began as he slowly sat up. "Then I have something I have to tell you." He leaned over and kissed Satsuki. She seemed surprised at first, but she gave in. After a few seconds, Kazuma pulled back and said, "I love you too."

"Even after what I did?" Satsuki asked in shock. "Even after seeing my other form?"

"I know you didn't mean to hurt me," Kazuma began. "I remember a few times where you stopped because you were concerned about me. And the last thing I remember before I passed out was your crying face."

"Thank you..." Satsuki said softly. She calmed down a bit from before.

Remembering that they were about to go down stairs, Satsuki asked, "Do you need help standing up?"

"I think I can do it, but I wouldn't mind your help." Kazuma said as he started to get up. As he got off her bed, Satsuki helped him stand up.
